He has worked as Assistant Country Director for Crises Prevention and Recovery at UNDP Afghanistan, Peace and Social Cohesion Expert in Afghanistan, Programme Specialist at UNDP Syria, and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Executive Secretariat-High Peace Council under the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. His expertise in social, political, and ethnic dynamics has enabled him to collaborate with various stakeholders to develop policies that enhance peace at provincial and national levels, fostering an environment for humanitarian and development assistance.

He has led projects on poverty reduction, MSME development, and trade policy for organisations like UNDP, USAID, and the World Bank Group. A published author, Shoaib has written policy briefs and reports in multiple languages. He is skilled in R, Power BI, and Excel, utilising his data analysis abilities for informed decision-making.

Gender Equality Advocacy Fellowship- Swedish Institute, Sweden
Shakeela is an experienced professional in gender equality and women’s empowerment, with over a decade of experience working with organisations like UNDP, USAID, and FHI360. She has led initiatives on women’s economic empowerment and access to education, including the establishment of a Gender Studies master’s program at Kabul University. She has developed gender-focused strategies, managed large portfolios, and conducted gender analyses for program decisions. As a communicator and trainer, she has facilitated workshops on gender sensitivity and leadership, impacting thousands in Afghanistan. Shakeela holds an MBA and multiple certifications in project management and gender advocacy.

Sajjad has over a decade of extensive experience in the socio-economic development of vulnerable communities. His career spans working with diplomatic missions such as the UK and EU Commission, alongside NGOs in Afghanistan and local government in the UK. Sajjad has excelled in offering insightful policy analysis and advice, leading national-level programs across a range of sectors. These include social protection, financial inclusion, small and medium enterprise development, and the integration and resettlement of returnees and refugees. His work has significantly contributed to the enhancement of a broad range of communities, showcasing his commitment and expertise in fostering development and resilience.

Farmanullah Bismil is a skilled professional in trade promotion and private sector development, holding a master's degree in economics. He served as Director of Exports and Trade Promotion for USAID’s AVC-Crops Project, enhancing Afghan agribusinesses' market access by developing partnerships and export strategies. His initiatives focused on building resilient value chains in sectors like horticulture, nuts, and spices through tailored marketing, quality improvements, and logistics. He has also advised the Afghan government on investment-friendly policies for SMEs. Renowned for his strategic insights, Farmanullah drives economic development and competitive value chains in challenging environments.

His career highlights include serving as Head of Office for a Senior Advisor to the President and supporting organisations like DAI Global.
