LEAD RESEARCHER
Mushtaq Rahim
Mushtaq Rahim holds a Master's in Peace and Reconciliation and has an extensive background in research and strategic positions. He has served as:
- Assistant Country Director for Crises Prevention and Recovery at UNDP Afghanistan;
- Peace and Social Cohesion Expert in Afghanistan
- Programme Specialist at UNDP Syria
Additionally, he was the Deputy Chif Executive Officer of the Executive Secretariat-High Peace Council (HPC) under the previous GoIRA.
Leveraging his deep understanding of the country's social, political, and ethnic dynamics, Mushtaq has successfully collaborated with diverse stakeholders to develop policies and strategies that have bolstered peace at both provincial and national levels. His efforts have created an environment conducive to delivering humanitarian and development assistance.

As the Operations Manager of ASC, Asadullah brings a wealth of expertise in managing day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless coordination across departments, and optimising resource utilisation. With a robust background in administrative management, Asadullah excels in streamlining processes, implementing strategic initiatives, and fostering a collaborative environment.

Asadullah Rahmani

Toryali Ahmadi

Programme Manager
Sajjad Rahim
With Masters in Governance and Public Policy from University of Sussex and MSc in Project Management from University of Northampton, Sajjad works as Programme Manager at ASC. He is instrumental in driving the planning, implementation, and evaluation of research initiatives. With extensive experience in project management and a strong grasp of research methodologies, Sajjad ensures that all programs are executed efficiently and effectively.
